High-speed train

High-speed train: means of railway transportation, composed of a number of railway cars towed by a locomotive.
Passenger car: car for passenger transportation.
Single-phase pantograph: alternating current electrical apparatus that transmits current to the engine.
Roof window for motor air exhaust: grill that allows the venting of air.
Control stand: place from which the train is operated.
Head light: central light that illuminates the path of the train.
Search light: apparatus that projects intense beams of light.
Signal light: signal light.
Automatic coupler: hook-and-clamp mechanism used to attach railway cars to each other.
Driver's cab: place where the engineer sits.
Cabin locker: storage compartment.
Tool compartment: storage places for various pieces of equipment.
Baggage compartment: place where baggage is stored.
